The SRDM-A001 Airborne PoSDI Video Distribution Module (VDM) is part of the PoSDI Camera Interface System. Working with Sekai’s PoSDI cameras, the VDM enables long distance transfer of high-speed SDI digital video and supplies DC power and optional camera control back to the camera all over a single coax cable. The PoSDI system increases video system reliability while greatly reducing cabling complexity and weight. The VDM contains a SDI equalizer and re-clocker for each channel to overcome losses and distortions. This enables reliable operation over longer distances. The PoSDI VDM has been designed to withstand the rugged environment of civilian and military aircraft and vehicles.
