The SR-HIRC1280 is a high-resolution Infrared Camera design for operation in harsh environments. The image core with 1280×1024 pixel resolution in a 12µm pitch provides superior video footage under all weather conditions. The camera is enclosed in a lightweight anodized aluminum housing rated to IP67.The camera is connected thru one single coaxial cable only, featuring SEKAI’s PoSDI concept. Thus, providing power and controls to the camera while receiving HD-SDI video stream. The camera is designed to ideally be combined with a VPM (Video Processing Matrix).Features like Histogram, Balance, Gain etc. also including Non-Uniformity Correction (NUC) can be altered remotely. The SR-HIRC1280 covers the spectral range from 8 to 12µm with a thermal resolution of less than 60mK with a framerate of 60fps.A high-end athermalized Long-Wave IR lens is matched to the imager resulting in a horizontal coverage of about 40°. Other Field-of-Views can be realized upon request. The SR-HIRC1280 is qualified against RTCA-DO-160G requirements.
